  Saturday, March 10th, 2007

I have uploaded the audio from my stint as substitute host on The Carole Nelson Show on The Talk-To-Me Station AM-920 WMEL on Thursday morning. Thanks to John Harper, owner of WMEL, for giving me permission to do so! If you missed my return to the local airwaves, or if you want to hear it again, just left-click each link below to stream it, or right-click each link and then click on "Save target as" to save the files for later playback. And if you want to read up on what I talked about on Thursday, just scroll a little further down.

Thanks to Rick Amato for appearing on the show and kicking-off the first segment. And of course, thanks to John Harper and Carole Nelson for letting me play in their playground for a day. Get better soon, Carole!

Back on the air!
  Thursday, March 8th, 2007

This is short notice, but I'm going to be back on-the-air later today, Thursday, March 8th, 2007, on The Talk-To-Me Station AM-920 WMEL in Melbourne, Florida! Listen for me live from 10am to 11am, filling in for Carole Nelson who is out due to illness. Hopefully she'll be back by next week, because she runs a darn good show, and I have some big shoes to fill today. This will probably be a one-shot deal, and beyond that I won't speculate about the future, but it sure will be fun to be behind the mic again. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go do something I haven't had to do since 2004: show prep!

About Me
My name is Vince Young, and I am NOT a football player. I'm a young resident of Palm Bay, the largest city along the Space Coast in Florida, and I'm a local radio talk-show host on AM-1300 WMEL in Cocoa, a bit north of Palm Bay. This site serves as a companion to my radio show as we discuss news and events in Brevard County, local politics, and state and national news, as well as whatever random stuff catches my fancy.
